Retirement investment presentation scheduled

The trustees of the MIT Retirement Plan invite all members of the Plan to learn about its investments at any one of several presentations to be offered by David Scudder of Wellington Management in September and October. Mr. Scudder heads the team of investment professionals at Wellington Management who invest most of the assets of the MIT Retirement Plan.

"It is increasingly important for members of the Plan to be able to make informed investment decisions. David Scudder's presentations are meaningful opportunities for Plan members to receive information directly from the person whose day-to-day decisions affect the performance of our funds," said Glenn P. Strehle, chairman of the Plan's trustees.

Presentations will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at noon and 1pm in Killian Hall (Rm 14W-111).

Mr. Scudder will return to MIT for the day-long 1996 Investment Retirement Fair in October, at which there will be many opportunities to learn about investing for retirement. Highlights of the fair include presentations by Professor James Poterba of economics and by Mr. Scudder on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at noon in the Stratton Student Center, and on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 9am in the South Laboratory Auditorium at Lincoln Laboratory.
