Dibner awards fellowships

The Dibner Institute for the History of Science and Technology has made fellowship awards to eight PhD candidates--six at MIT--in programs at two Dibner Institute consortium-member institutions: the Program in Science, Technology and Society at MIT and the Department of the History of Science at Harvard University.

The Dibner Graduate Fellowship program is open to students writing their dissertations who are nominated by their departments. Selection is based on excellence and scholarly promise without regard for need.

Student recipients from MIT are Greg Clancey, Karin Ellison, Slava Gerovitch, Diane Greco, Rebecca Herzig and Hannah Landecker. Conevery Bolton and Nani Clow of Harvard also received fellowship awards.
