Combustion engines subject of lecture

Basic research in combustion and its automotive applications will be the focus of a talk Friday, Oct. 27, at 3pm in Rm 66-110.

Professor Meinrad K. Eberle, director of the Paul Scherrer Institute and ETH Zurich, will discuss internal combustion engines, fuel cells, the issues of future fuels and more. His talk, "From Chemistry to Automotive Power Trains," is the 2000 Hoyt C. Hottel Lecture sponsored by the Department of Chemical Engineering.
