Third travel agency added for MIT business

MIT has added the Travel Collaborative at 120 Beacon St. in Somerville as an approved travel agency for MIT business.

By using the company, MIT travelers will be able to take advantage of the MASCO consortium discounts on American Airlines and Delta Airlines, along with all other discounted arrangements with air carriers, car rentals and hotels. As with the other two approved agencies (American Express One and Navigant International, formerly Omni Travel Service), airline tickets will be automatically charged to an appropriate departmental cost center at the time of ticketing.

New MIT customers using the Travel Collaborative should call 497-8196 or e-mail MIT@tvlcoll.com to be connected to one of the primary MIT travel consultants rather than routed through the automated attendant and operator. (The main number is 491-7400.)

See the MIT travel web page for additional information, or contact Ellen Sico in the Controller's Accounting Office at x3-3547 or esico@mit.edu.
