Edgerton Center offers girls' program

The Edgerton Center is offering a free four-day summer program called "You Go Girl!" which focuses on hands-on science and exploration activities for girls in the greater Boston area who will be entering ninth grade in the fall.

Each day of the program, which will run from Aug. 13-16, will start with science activities ranging from electronics to lasers to LEGO design. In the afternoon, girls will focus on exploring future career and high school choices, as well as group activities.

The program is free. For more information and an application, contact the Edgerton Center at x3-7931. The application deadline is July 20.
