The Swedish engineering firm Asea Brown Boveri, not Professor Emeritus Janos Beer, was the inventor of the combustion chamber used in the MIT cogeneration plant. Professor Beer, correcting a statement in the Oct. 30 issue of MIT Tech Talk, said he worked with the MIT Department of Facilities to adapt the company's invention for use in generating electricity, steam and chilled water for MIT.
