Daffodil deliveries cap successful MIT sale

Bouquets of daffodils are now being delivered to those who placed orders through Daffodil Days, the annual sale benefiting the American Cancer Society. More bouquets are being sold in Lobby 10 and the atrium of buildings E23 and E25 through Friday.

With advance orders totaling almost $24,000, MIT was the third-highest seller in the ACS's Massachusetts Bay region. The leading departments were Facilities (230 orders), the Sloan School (142), the Whitehead Institute (123), and Resource Development (117). Facilities is also helping the campaign by delivering the flowers to 89 locations around the Institute.

Kathy Collupy, an administrative assistant in Facilities, accepted the award on behalf of MIT at a thank-you tea for Daffodil Days coordinators.
