The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum has honored Joan Jonas with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her extraordinary contributions to the field of contemporary art. The honor was presented as part of the museum’s First Annual Art Awards celebrating individuals, exhibitions and projects that have had a significant impact in the field.
