Five MIT undergraduates complete research internship at SMART in Singapore

Five MIT undergraduate students — Ong Tian, Ooi Boon Teik, Natasha Plotkin, Touch Meng Heng and Yen Minmin — spent their summer conducting research in Singapore under the Singapore-MIT Undergraduate Research Fellows (SMURF) scholarship. These internships were awarded by the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART). The MIT undergraduates worked together with seven other undergraduates from the National University of Singapore and the Nanyang Technological University who were awarded similar internships.
