Find a patent, build a bibliography or learn the business side of biotech. These are a few of the many topics covered in workshops offered by the MIT Libraries throughout the month of July. Think of it as Independent Activities Period (IAP), only warmer.

Learn software tools and search techniques in workshops such as Endnote Basics, Patent Searching Fundamentals and GeneGo. Or keep up to date in your field with workshops on Biotech Business Information for Engineers and Scientists, or Energy Information: Where to Go and What to Do.

See the full list of free workshops open to anyone in the MIT community. Pre-registration is required for some sessions. All workshops take place in the Digital Instruction Resource Center (DIRC), 14N-132.
